A single slab, in all of it’s glory. I am pleased to present the DOMUS Dining Table.

As a tree grows upwards and outwards, all of its energy flows towards the sky. This is manifested beautifully in enormous walnut slabs, in which we see both the rapid-growth years as well as the years of hardship [drought/bugs/wind]. I find that the grain patterns in these trees are dynamic and alive, so I set out to create a design that is simple and understated, and allows the table top to shine. A generous edge radius softens the design and invites the touch. Finished to a buttery-smooth hand rubbed oil finish.
